Conservative-run Lincolnshire County Council have provided an update on the preliminary works on the North Hykeham Relief Road (Southern Bypass) that will soon be starting which will create a ring round for the first time around the City.

I have long campaigned for better transport infrastructure in Lincoln to help everyone get in, out and around the City. This is a key part of my campaign to Put Lincoln First!
This August, Lincoln’s MP, Karl, has written to barbers, GP surgeries, sports clubs, health bodies and student unions to encourage them to signpost men to the City’s Andy’s Man Club where men come together for a non-judgemental confidential chat every Monday night.
Karl met local resident, Gary, about the problem of the continuing problems in Bathurst Street, (just off of Monks Road) with a continual water leak in the street.
Local Hartsholme Ward Councillors, Cllr. David Clarkson and Cllr Rachel Storer took the opportunity to show Karl the new additions to the Hartsholme Park facilities recently.
Karl has long championed that Lincoln and Lincolnshire need a Film Strategy and a dedicated Officer at the County Council to take advantage of the stunning locations and architecture that the area has to offer film and TV makers.
