A good transport system is vital for the success of any city. Without the ability to ensure that people can get to work on time and safely, and that goods can be moved to where they are needed, the economy of any city suffers.

It's no cliché, our children are our future, and what we invest in them will determine the future growth and success of the city of Lincoln.Whilst Labour may have stated their core aim to be "education, education, education" little was done to improve the opportunities of those living in Lincoln. Since being elected I have pushed to increase the opportunities and to ensure that the very best education facilities are available to give our children the best opportunities.

Providing safety and security is the first and most important job of government and I welcome news that recorded crime in Lincolnshire has fallen once again over the last twelve months and Latest figures from the independent Office for National Statistics show that over the last three years recorded crime in Lincolnshire has fallen by 17%.
