Statement on the visit to the City of Lincoln by Cabinet Office Minister, Rt Hon Francis Maude MP

“I was delighted to learn that the Minister for the Cabinet Office and Paymaster General, Rt Hon Francis Maude MP, visited Lincoln once again today to see the Point of Light winner, Alice Carter.

“Unfortunately, I was unable to welcome Francis to our beautiful City in person as I, along with senior officers and elected councillors from Lincolnshire County Council, North Kesteven District Council and the City of Lincoln Council attended an important meeting with Network Rail to discuss delays to our level crossing footbridge works and other bridge requirements across the suburban level crossings in the City.
