Karl calls for two Lincoln GP surgeries to remain open

Further to the decision by Universal Health Ltd1 to hand back the management of four GP surgeries2 to Lincolnshire West Clinical Commissioning Group (LWCGG) on 1 August 2016, two of which are in the City, Karl has called on LWCGG to publicly declare that they have no intention of closing these two surgeries.

Karl calls on groups in Lincoln to apply for Lottery Funding

Karl as today joined the Big Lottery Fund in calling on community groups in Lincoln to apply for funding to hold events or activities that will bring people together and celebrate what makes their local community special. 

Lincoln teacher selected to attend Parliament’s Teachers’ Institute

Suzanne Evans, a teacher from Lincoln Minster School, has been selected to attend the tenth annual Teachers’ Institute in the Houses of Parliament. In the ten years since it was launched, Teachers’ Institute has trained more than 500 teachers, from all parts of the UK, immersing them in the role, work and history of Parliament.
