Providing safety and security is the first and most important job of government and I welcome news that recorded crime in Lincolnshire has fallen once again over the last twelve months and Latest figures from the independent Office for National Statistics show that over the last three years recorded crime in Lincolnshire has fallen by 17%.
Conservatives are on the side of people who work hard and do the right thing. That is why we are reforming the police and cutting the red tape so that officers can concentrate on cutting crime to make our communities safer.
It is great news that crime continues to fall in our County. Hardworking local police officers in Lincolnshire can be rightly proud of their success in cutting crime.
The secret to policing success is a strong sense of community and the engagement of local people with their local police service. I meet often with our directly elected Police and Crime Commissioner and I would like to know your views on policing in the City, and what you feel could be done to improve services.
To help me with this please take my short crime and safety survey. All your views will be kept anonymous and will help me to represent your views to senior officers and law enforcement officials.
